Following up from the first part of our Australian Nationals Tournament report, we have the final videos from the double elimination round!

NR2015Day02

Day Two – Top 16

In game 26 of the lower bracket, we feature The Winning Agenda’s own Wilfy Horig with his Prepaid Kate deck, taking on the number 1 seed Alex Forndran playing his NEH Butchershop deck. This was a tense arm wrestle between two great players, with every click and every credit proving important in the lead up to a fascinating endgame:

In the lower bracket final, Alex Forndran playing Kate, faces Joey Lindsay with the powerful NEH Butchershop archetype:

Finally, Alex managed to battle his way through the lower bracket into the grand final with Daryl Russell. Alex managed to sweep two wins versus Daryl in the swiss rounds, he will need to sweep two games again this time to claim the title!

At the end of the day there could only be one winner so a huge congratulations to Daryl and of course a genuine well done to everyone else who participated in the event.  We hope to follow Daryl’s journey to the Android: Netrunner World Event and hopefully bring you updates of the big event itself as it takes place.
